Since a young child, Carmen Veal Conway, imagined a better reality for herself. A truth-telling, self-healing leader who beat the odds by improving her quality of life through the lens of special needs motherhood.

A talented creative as young as age 10, Conway started her first business as a community hair braider. Moving on to be Lead Stylist in a salon by age 17, which eventually inspired her transition to embrace her hair in its natural state, and create Brown Skin Women.

Combined collegiate studies focused on Psychology and Cosmetology, the launch of HomeHairCare.org is one of Carmen’s latest efforts to help women with textured hair feel as beautiful as they are. She takes her cutting edge natural hair virtual academy and teaches it in-person, while inspiring her audience to be smart consumers who feel as beautiful as they are through clean, simplified living!
